About Reem Jishi
Reem has an undergraduate degree in Chemistry
from the University of Rochester and a law
degree from the University of Michigan Law
School. She practiced as an attorney for fifteen
years, most recently as a Vice President with
Wyeth. In late 2009, Reem made the decision to
retire from Corporate America and begin a new
journey as a coach and fitness studio owner.
While practicing as an attorney, Reem also
competed in triathlons and bike racing. Reem
first participated in triathlon in 2000 and
competed in Ironman Lake Placid in 2001. In
2002, she began racing her bike and in 2005
co-founded the Advil ChapStick Women's

Advil ChapStick for three seasons, racing at the
national level. In 2009, Reem returned to
triathlon and focused on sprint and intermediate
distance events.
The high point of her 2009 season was a second
place finish in her age group at the NYC
Triathlon. In 2010 & 2011, Reem earned All
American Honorable Mention Honors.
Reem has coached all levels of triathletes,
cyclists and runners. Having spent a decade
working 60 hours a week and also training for
triathlon and bike racing, she knows the
difficulty of balancing training with real life
and the importance of getting the most out of
every training session.
Reem is a USA Triathlon Coach, USA Cycling
